Build Your Shoulders with Three Amazing Resistance Band Workouts

Have you been thinking of working on your shoulders and building your upper arm strength?

You can build your shoulders at your home without using much home exercise equipment.

Yes, that’s right! You can build your shoulders by using just a resistance band. In this blog post, we will tell you three amazing shoulder workouts using a resistance band. So, let’s get started!

  • Workout 1

This first workout will be a mix of hypertrophy and strength training. You have three exercises in this workout. You will need a thicker and lightweight resistance band for this workout. The first two exercise includes upright row and shoulder press. Perform both exercises in 3 sets of 8 reps with a rest period of 2 minutes in between.

These two exercises will be followed by the third exercise which is a triple set of frontal raises, banded Y-fly, and banded reverse fly. Do each exercise in 3 sets of 10 reps with a rest period of 60 seconds after each set.

  • Workout 2

The second workout is a high-volume workout that will work on your shoulder hypertrophy. You can use a lighter resistance band for these exercises. There are five exercises in this workout that include upright row, single-arm shoulder press, banded reverse fly, single-arm lateral raise, and frontal raise.

Each exercise must be done 15-20 reps in 3 sets. Take 60 seconds of a break between each set. This workout will increase the volume of muscles in the shoulders.

  • Workout 3

This last workout is a mix of low and high reps. You will need to use thicker and lighter resistance bands. This workout includes four exercises, namely, shoulder press and upright row 5 sets of 5 reps with 2-3 minutes of rest. This is followed by a triple set and superset.

The triple set includes frontal raise, banded reverse fly, and banded face pulls in 3 sets of 10 reps with 60 seconds of a rest period. The superset has two exercises, shrugs and band pull apart in 3 sets of 15 reps with a rest period of 60-90 seconds.
